Own Initial Questions Around the Module Brief

Week 2 

1.     Which type of map is the focal point of your book? E.G. World map, Street map, gallery map …. Furthermore, will the map need to be designed for an educational or fictional book (same facts and information but told through story telling/ similar to horrible histories)?

2.      From past experience would the book market for children (7-11 years) do you have a preference between a clean, balanced layout or an experimental, dynamic one? Additionally, was there anything you liked or disliked about past projects you worked with?

3.   Which format would you prefer the pages to be created and/or exported in? And what is your preferred DPI (dots per inch)? Furthermore, do you have a preference between RGB or CMYK?

4.   For the final document/project do you or your team prefer a particular format, layout, typography, or colour scheme?

5.   Would you like the A2 presentation file to be a design idea board which can be annotated and, in turn, enable you to affirm which areas you would like to be taken forward, developed, omitted, or adapted/amended, or does the presentation file showcase the final designs?
